Meet the On The Farm Team

Leanne Arnal

Leanne Arnal is the founder and publisher of On The Farm Magazine, Norfolk’s magazine dedicated to celebrating and supporting international agricultural workers, the farmers who employ them and the businesses and organizations that serve the agricultural community. Drawing on nearly 20 years of experience working alongside Ontario’s agricultural sector, she created the magazine to share stories, provide valuable resources, strengthen connections, and recognize the people who help feed our communities. 
 
Leanne is also the founder of The Chill Spot, a community lounge and creative space in Simcoe, Ontario where international agricultural workers can connect, learn, find support and create positive memories.
 
Through both initiatives, her passion is to strengthen rural communities by bringing people together, fostering belonging, and celebrating the people behind agriculture.
 

Gerry Wiebe

Gerry Wiebe is a graphic designer, print and digital layout specialist, and college professor with more than 30 years of experience in magazine design, marketing, branding, photography, and digital communications. He contributes his expertise to digital advertising initiatives and supports their continued development and growth. Gerry specializes in creating professional print and digital advertising and visual communications that help businesses, organizations, and community groups connect meaningfully with their audiences. He is especially proud to support Ontario’s agricultural community by sharing its stories and helping local businesses and organizations strengthen their online presence.

Nicola McCrave

Nicola McCrave is a graphic designer, web designer, and college professor with more than 30 years of experience in marketing, branding, web design, and digital communications. She designed and built the On The Farm Magazine website and continues to maintain and support its growth.
